![]() At least he did address this person as sir while asking for seconds at chow. In the chowhall, speaking to someone off carmera (a Chaplin maybe or a cook) from a seated position. He needed a blanket party in the worst way. Hammin' it up for the camera and yellin' at other recruits like he was somebody on the hump. ![]() Is he the undisciplined one that got busted down from Guide? All that growling, whining bullsh*t on the bars at the confidence course. If you watch it, there are some parts when it focuses on a recruit named Spelis. **I am standing by to take shots from my brother's from the other boot camp at San Diego as we speak, carry on :) ** The Marines that are made today are the finest fighters in the world. I think whatever they're doing to make Marines they're doing it better then anyone else in the world. But in all respect to current Marines, these Marines I work with are old (and I'm not 18 anymore) and they couldn't carry your jock strap. I know things change but it seemed like a lot of yelling and not a lot of azz kicking to me? Maybe that's just how it was edited I'm sure? Any way, so then I let two of the guys I work with borrow it and they're real old timers, grey hairs, and they were really p*ssed and made a lot of funny comments. There were other indications that it wasn't PI but when I saw that bird, I was p*ssed. I originally bought it thinking it was about my beloved Parris Island, but about halfway through when I saw a big bird fly by, I then realized it was about MCRD SD and too be honest I was really disappointed that I bought it. I have to be honest, being a Parris Island Marine from the early 90's I was a bit disappointed, but similar to what someone else mentioned it's hard to capture boot camp in a film, whomever edits it. ![]()
